My Professional Journey

2020 Memoir

April 2021

This past year was a challenge for all of us. While in solitude I decided to journal throughout my covid experience. Here is a compilation of those journals.

Yearbook Photography

May 2021

These pages contain pictures I took for the yearbook in my senior year of high-school as the yearbook photographer.

Yearbook Pages

May, 2021

These pages from the Forest Lake Academy Mirror were photographed, designed, and captioned by Cecilia Moreno.

News Article

June 2020

In summer 2020, with not much to do, I challenged myself to participate in Southern Adventist Universities Photography and journalism camp. This is the article that Cecilia designed and took photo's of in that camp.

Literacy Journey

April 2021

In my college English class my senior year of high school, I was assigned a paper to describe the reason why I decided to pursue a career in Communication. Here is where I wrote my reasons why.

Creative Short Story

December 2018

This piece is one I came up with in the middle of a writers block. My teacher had assigned me a short story and I had come up with the concept after listening to Escape by Rupert Holmes.

Research Paper

October, 2020

This is a short research paper done for Environmental Science.  It was supposed to include statistics pertaining to a current event.

Although I was not senior class historian, I volunteered to design the class shirt, jacket, and mask.

About Me

I have gone through a lot of phases in my life. Like everyone else, growing up I've wanted to be an actress, a chef, a humanitarian, a photographer, and finally I'm majoring in communications. I enjoy writing, photography, and design. I have always looked up to dreamers - people who have a vision and work hard to fulfill it. My biggest critic is myself. I do my best in every assignment I am given. I have also learned a lot of valuable lessons in my few years of experience, one being that success is when you are happy with who you are and with the journey it has taken you to get there. I consider myself a dreamer, and hopefully with hard work and dedication I may find myself at that place of satisfaction and tranquility.
